Braithwaite, LA:  July 2008

From July 12-19, 2008 our team traveled to Braithwaite, La. to offer our help again to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, where there is still an astounding amount of work to be done.

We concentrated our efforts on the local elementary school, clearing out debris, cleaning up the interior, painting the classrooms and hallways and re-stocking where we could. Our visit from the alligator was quite a surprise and our day in New Orleans a highlight as well. Lots of sweat, lots of fun. What an awesome experience!
