Huntington, WV:  July 2018

In July of 2018 a team of 31 team members traveled to Huntington, WV, home of Marshall University.  Our construction team was able to put up siding on an entire house, do needed painting and soffit replacement, and build a deck and handicap ramp on a house for a family with a 14-year-old handicapped boy.  All of this in 4 days!  Thank you so much for your prayers that enabled them to get this all done!

Our Vacation Bible School team constructed a “desert island” for kids from 3 – 16 to come and hang out in at Highlawn Full Gospel Church in Huntington.  Preparing during the day, and performing at night, this hard-working team delivered the message that Jesus rescues to a room full of needy, loveable children.  What an honor it is to be entrusted with the job of loving on God’s children!

After a long, exhausting week, some down time at Beechfork State Park was just what our team needed.  Thank you for supporting our teenagers as they gave themselves to help those in need.  What a beautiful week of serving!
